Kindermusik Village is all about that special relationship you have with your baby. You and your baby experience bonding time in the context of a unique blend of musical learning activities that stimulate and engage all of the senses. Classtime offers opportunities to encourage your baby's learning through vocal play, object exploration, instruments, and creative movement.

Kindermusik Our Time encourages your child to uncover an engaging musical world while building confidence, self-control and communication skills. Along with an accompanying parent or caregiver, children meet weekly to enjoy singing, moving, listening and interacting socially, and playing simple instruments. Each activity nurtures your child's development. Singing, vocal play and rhyming foster language development. Creative movement activities develop balance, timing and spatial awareness, and affirm a child's urge to move. Instrument play encourages a child's discovery of textures, sounds and tempo. Music & Movement Story Time encourages emergent literacy skills. A rich variety of music encourage listening and music appreciation.

Class Length: 45 to 50 minutes
Kindermusik Imagine That! is designed for active, energetic, enthusiastic, and imaginative 3 to 5-year-olds and encourages socialization, sharing, and participating in group activities. Music, movement, pretend play, and storytelling are interwoven together to create an exciting environment of learning and discovery. As children reflect and express, sing and play instruments, they are learning musical terms and concepts and the joy of creating music. Parents are invited to participate in the last 15 minutes of class for Sharing Time.

Class Length: 1 hour
Kindermusik for the Young Child teaches fundamental music concepts involved in instrument instruction, vocal study and music composition in an encouraging and fun class structure. Over the four semesters children will develop skills in playing simple pre-keyboard, string and woodwind instruments, as well as singing and listening skills and musical concepts. Integration of movement activities teach and reinforce musical learning and expression.

Class Structure: 1 class per week for 10 weeks
Class Length: 40 to 50 minutes
Family Time is a one-room schoolhouse approach to music. With older children ready to show the little ones how it's done and the younger ones eager to learn, Family Time becomes a multi-layered learning environment. Your children will listen to instruments and to each other, learn from their peers and older children, and enjoy music and movement with hoops, scarves and tumble-around play. Story time and family jams, puppet play and happy singing—all the Family Time activities encourage discovery and exploration and foster sharing and social skills too. In this special place for musical, social and emotional learning, your children will strengthen their ties with each other and with you—and they'll start developing the skills they'll need in school and on the neighborhood playground.
